At Documation, we have just attained re-certification for our ISO 27001 standard.
What is the ISO 27001 re-Certification?
This takes the form of a rigorous deep dive into our information security management and is conducted by the BSI over 3 days.
The certification lasts for 3 years, with annual audits to ensure compliance is maintained. We passed with flying colours with no non-conformities. We will continue to be audited as per the ISO 27001 standard but instead of annually, we have elected for 6 monthly audits to ensure our systems and the management of our information security remains a high priority throughout the year.
All the team at Documation are involved in security management and as such, undergo regular training. We are extremely proud of our commitment to information security and our twice-yearly audits ensure that the principle of continuous improvement, which is central to the standard, is adhered to.
We know this gives our customers the extra peace of mind they require and often is required to meet their own Information Management Policies. Certification proves without doubt, that business practices are secure and safe, not just now, but into the future through an inbuilt system of reviews and action plans. Retaining this certification ensures that our already rigorous business processes continuously improve to deal with Information Security challenges as they evolve in future.
