On the 21st May, six team members from Documation will be running in the Romsey Relay Marathon on behalf of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is one of forty-six non-profit organisations, working together to protect wildlife in every part of the British Isles. Each charity works with it’s local community and young people to care for the surrounding wildlife and inspire conservation change. This includes restoring and protecting vital habitats for threatened species and more!
Documation’s Romsey Runner, Dean Young says:
“I’ve supported this charity for the last five years as they do really great work on conservation, which is something I think everyone needs to get involved in. Loss of habitat through Britain is now critical and it needs to change so raising more money for this work is key.”
Returning for the ninth year, the Romsey Relay Marathon will take place on Sunday 21st May 2023. Each team involved is allowed up to ten runners, who will run twenty six miles collectively. The marathon is open to the whole community, helping raise funds and awareness for local charities and other excellent causes.
Documation’s Richard Tapley says:
“The team here at Documation are really looking forward to taking part in the Romsey Relay Marathon. It is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the great work that the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust are doing to protect and enhance wildlife”
Documation is proud to be involved in local community events and would like to wish good luck to Richard, Dean, Kevin, Alan, Nick and Ben. The team would really appreciate any donations you would like to make on behalf of the Hampshire Wildlife Trust. If you would like to donate, please click here!
